Trackpad is annoying right ? Let's disable it !
What you need is a lenovo 'UltraNav' mouse driver/configurator and some quick steps, find it below.

note: this How-to is written based on Thinkpad Edge 13 running Windows 7, but I think I fit with others common Thinkpad too.

• go to lenovo's support & download website
• choose your model
• choose "Mouse/Trackpoint"
• download the driver, install it, restart your Thinkpad
• go to "Control Panal" -> "Hardware and Sound" -> "Mouse" -> "UltraNav" tab (this tab will exist after you have installed the driver successfully)
• look for trackpad configuration panel, and disable it! hoorey!
