เพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้ baseband เปลี่ยนไปอีกหลังการ upgrade iOS

• การสร้าง custom firmware : เครื่องน่าจะเป็น 3gs new model (new bootrom)
  เพราะ restore ด้วย custom firmware สำหรับ old bootroom แล้วไม่ผ่าน คือ ติดอยู่ใน recovery mode
  kick ไม่ออกแม้ว่าจะลองใช้ทั้ง tiny umbrella, Fix recovery
• การ restore ด้วย itunes : host file ต้องไม่มีบรรทัดที่เป็น apple.com อยู่ ก่อนทำการ restore (ลบออกไปเลย)
  สำหรับ mac แล้ว host file จะอยู่ที่ /private/etc/host เข้าไปหา file นี้โดย Finder -> Go -> Go to folder -> "/private/etc" ใน file เข้าไป copy ออกมา edit ที่ folder อื่นแล้วค่อย copy กลับไป
• error 1600 : แก้ด้วยการลบบรรทัดที่มี apple.com ออกจาก host file แล้ว restore ใหม่

Uber จริงๆแล้วเป็นภาษาเยอรมันแปลว่า อยู่บน, เหนือกว่า ถูกนำมาใช้ในภาษาอังกฤษเป็นคำนำหน้านาม (prefix) แปลว่า "เหนือปกติ" (ในทางที่ดี) เป็นคำที่วัยรุ่นใช้กันเยอะ
